Cable Cars and Golden Gate Park.

We started our day by visiting the Cable Car museum. Found this very intresting.
We then took our first Cable Car ride down to Market Street. Lovely experience. If anyone is interested I've videoed it!!!

From the city centre we took a bus heading to Golden Gate Park but decided to stay on until it reached Ocean Beach. Not wanting to miss the oportunity for some beach time we bought lunch from Safeway then found a space on the beach and ate lunch gazing out across the Pacfic Ocean. We were a little overdressed.

Tearing ourself away from the beach we then walked the full length of Golden Gate Park and came across some quite unexpected sights.

On the way home guess who managed to get us on the wrong Cable Car :-) so we had to walk (almost climb) over Russian Hill. I'm sure we are a lot fitter even if it did nearly finished us off.

  1. Looks like a busy time. Alcatraz looks like work, no windows

    1. Very busy. Some of the cells at Alcatraz did receive some day light unlike at work! There even a favourite corner of the cell block to be in that received the most sun.
